Did you know that BAMA Institute’s sister school, Bay Area Medical Academy is holding a California Dream Act and Cal Grant workshop at its San Francisco campus on Saturday, February 9th at 11 am?
If you’ve ever thought about becoming a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician and would like to see if you qualify for California Dream Act or Cal Grant funding to help you train for one of these healthcare careers, we’d love to see you at the workshop.
Would you be eligible to complete a California Dream Act or Cal Grant application?
Here are the eligibility guidelines.
California Dream Act and Cal Grant Eligibility
California Dream Act
You are eligible to complete the California Dream Act Application and may be eligible for state aid if you are:
- Undocumented
- Have a valid or expired DACA
- A U Visa holder
- Have Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- Meet the non-resident exemption requirements under AB 540
Cal Grant Application
You are eligible to complete the FAFSA if you are a:
- US Citizen
- Permanent Resident
- Eligible non-citizen
- T Visa holder
