COVID-19 Response – We Are Open

First off, we hope everyone is staying safe. Washing your hands, wearing masks, and keeping social distance from each other will go a long way in curbing the spread of Coronavirus while allowing our medical facilities to respond to this pandemic

BAMA Institute is still open!

Our career programs and courses are currently running both online with additional hands-on lab practice on campus with heightened safety precautions in place to ensure everyone’s health, safety and welfare.

COVID-19 Testing for Phlebotomy and EKG Students

To ensure the health and safety of staff and students, all Phlebotomy students are required to take and pass a COVID-19 test before entering their first on-campus lab. Your COVID-19 test is free and will be taken at either the San Francisco or San Jose campus two-to-three days before your first lab.

When Is My First Lab?

  • Weekday class: First lab is held on the first Thursday of training.
  • Weekend class: First lab is held the second or third weekend of training.

Only essential staff is on campus and all enrollment, financial aid, career services, externship and registrar appointments are happening virtually.

BAMA Institute continues its commitment to provide top quality healthcare training and workforce hiring pipelines to our medical employers.

We commend all of our medical staff and employer partners on their service in this public health emergency!

And we thank you for considering BAMA Institute for your healthcare training.
