Who Is Eligible for the Free Healthcare Training?
To qualify for the free Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy and EKG class or the free phlebotomy class, applicants must:
- Be an incorporated Redwood City resident
- Be 18 years or older
- Meet low to moderate income qualifications
- Have a high school diploma or GED (Note: Applicants with a bachelor’s degree or higher are not eligible)
- Have received at least one full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
Class Start Dates & How to Apply
The free Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy and EKG class begins May 5th, 2025. Phlebotomy students can also choose any class start date through November 2025—but must enroll by May 5th, 2025.
